No.71-76 CMS-Falk Symposiums (inflammatory bowel disease) which were jointly organized by the Falk Foundation (German) and China Medical System Holdings Ltd. (CMS) , held in Lanzhou, Jinan, Xiamen, Wuxi, Ningbo and Nanchang provinces in China on August 16-24, 2014. Professor Jürgen Schölmerich and several well-known IBD experts in China were invited to make speeches in the symposiums. Professor Jürgen Schölmerich, the former Chairman of the "International Organization for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Disease" (IOIBD), gave the speech about the international advanced research of IBD. Also Professor Jürgen Schölmerich, the core members of Chinese IBD study group (Professor Xiaoping Wu, Professor Jie Zhong, Professor Qian Chao and Professor Xueliang Jiang) made speeches about the diagnosis and treatment of IBD.
No.71-76 CMS-Falk symposiums were warmly welcomed by doctors and scholars in the field of gastroenterology and proctology in China. Both speakers and audiences had a heated discussion and thought highly of the symposiums. These symposiums made the excellent academic image of Salofalk, and deepened the image in the hearts of doctors and scholars in the field of IBD. In addition, it could strongly promote the development of diagnosis and treatment level of IBD among the second-tier cities in China.
