The “Seminar on New Progress in Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease Seminar” ended in Taiyuan, in Shanxi province on December 1, 2013.The seminar was a continuing education program which was co-hosted by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Peking University First Hospital, and was to introduce and promote the domestic and overseas latest progress in liver disease prevention and treatment, as well as to facilitate the clinical research, academic exchange and cooperation among domestic doctors to improve the average level of domestic liver disease diagnosis and treatment.
There were four sessions in this seminar in 2013, and they held in Luoyang, Jilin , Ordos and Taiyuan, respectively. Famous experts were invited by the seminar sponsor to give a comprehensive introduction of the latest progress in viral hepatitis and liver disease field for the participants. Around 1,000 doctors attended the four sessions, which showed the doctors’interest and willingness to join this kind of academic seminar.
