CMS is an innovative pharmaceutical company focused on the identification, building, and full lifecycle management of differentiated specialty pharmaceuticals. With a dual-engine approach of in-house R&D and collaborative R&D, and leveraging its core capability to build markets and brands from the ground up, the Group enables each medicine to fully realize both its clinical value and commercial value.

Centered on six key stages across the product lifecycle—Identify, Build, Validate, Strategize, Create, and Realize—CMS has established an integrated, collaborative capability loop. The Group identifies quality products worldwide with both clinical value and commercial potential, selects the optimal pathway of in-house or collaborative R&D based on product characteristics, efficiently advances clinical development and regulatory registration, formulates precise positioning and clinical medical strategies, deepens its academic promotion system and network resources, and builds products into academic benchmarks within their therapeutic areas—fully realizing clinical and commercial value in China and emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, based on product judgment and free cash flow, CMS has built a distinctive industrial investment capability—making equity investments in quality biotechs, working with these investees to bring products to market, and reinvesting investment returns into R&D. This creates a positive cycle of “Identify quality products—Industry investment—Value realization—Reinvest in R&D.”

CMS focuses on advantaged specialty areas including Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic, central nervous system, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and skin health, forming sustainable scale advantages in specialties. It also continues to build capabilities for international replication, validating the transferability of its business model in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
