The 9th National Conference of Liver Disease & the 3rd European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Day were held in Chengdu on August 14th-16th 2014. Over 1500 domestic and overseas experts attended the conference.
Chairman Professor Ren Hong made the welcome and opening address. He said that this was a rare opportunity to communicate with the worldwide famous experts. This meeting would have important implications for treatments in liver disease.
Professor Zhuang Hui, Wei Lai, JiaJidong made excellent reports about hot spots of liver research and discussed issues on PBC, PSC, chronic liver disease, drug-induced liver disease, fatty liver, alcoholic liver disease, cholestasis liver disease, liver cancer and so on in the conference, which conveyed all aspects of the latest achievements and development trend of liver disease. Experts in the conference spoke highly of the speakers’ professional sharing. And it is believed that this would bring new possibilities and future cooperative directivity to liver disease.
