On June 4-6,2015,The 5th China Hypertension Conference and the 2015 Annual Meeting of Expert Committee on Hypertension of Chinese Medical Doctor Association sponsored by professor Sun Ningling from Peking University People∮s Hospital, along with the 12th National Cardiovascular Drugs New Progress Seminar and the 12th Northern Great Wall Conference sponsored by professor Sun Yingxian from the First Hospital of China Medical University were solemnly held at the Friendship Hotel in Shenyang, Liaoning province. The scale of the conferences was the largest ever, which attracted more than 2000 experts and representatives. The conferences fully demonstrated the latest research achievements in the field of hypertension both in and outside China, discussed the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension and relevant diseases based on the evidence-based medicine point of view. The academic activities also invited many well-known experts and scholars in cardiovascular field to give lectures about the latest progress in cardiovascular field and some clinical practical problems. The conferences provided an academic communication and debate platform of cardiovascular field for the broad domestic medical practitioners.
