On June 3-5 of 2016, the 2nd National Elder Digestive Diseases Forum was held at the Zhejiang Hotel, Hangzhou, which is famous for its beautiful West Lake. The Forum was organized by the Elder Digestion Cooperative Group of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology, Zhejiang Medical Association Digestive Endoscopy Credits, and hosted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical School of the Zhejiang University and the Department of Geriatrics of Chinese PLA General Hospital.
Renowned experts from Gastroenterology, Digestive Endoscopy and geriatrics fields were invited to exchange academic ideas on hot issues regarding elder diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases; in addition, some difficult and complicated cases of elder comorbidity were lively discussed on the forum.
The relationship between CMS and experts in the field of elder digestion had been strengthened through the forum. Furthermore, product visibility of Combizym? in the treatment of elder dyspepsia is enhanced, which also laid a solid foundation on promotion of Movicol? in elder constipation.
