The second annual conference of Pancreas Diseases Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association was held in Nanchang, from July 1-3rd, 2016. The conference was hosted by Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and Pancreas Diseases Committee of CMDA, co-organized by Jiangxi medical association of gastroenterology, editorial department of Chinese Journal of Pancreatology, and organized by The First Affliated Hospital of Nanchang University. Domestic and international famous specialists engaged in pancreatic disease clinical and research fields attended this conference, including the experts from American MD Anderson Center. Heated discussion on pancreatic diseases relating to MDT consensus guideline was launched; the latest achievements on the pancreas diseases and clinical research were presented on the conference as well.
Professor Hu Lianghao from Shanghai Changhai Hospital presented a thematic report named “Diagnosis and treatment on Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency”, and gave a detailed explanation on the necessity of using pancreatin in chronic pancreatitis treatment. In the meaning time, professor Hu fully affirmed the adequate pancreatin amount in Combizym® and the efficacy of Combizym® as pancreatin supplementary therapy for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. It was the first time when Combizym® made a figure in the pancreas epidemiological field, and through this conference Combizym® had successfully built up its brand image and increased its product popularity. By consolidating the cooperative relationship with experts, Combizym®’s expert network was greatly enriched, which laid a solid promotional foundation for Combizym® in pancreas diseases treating field.
